i changed it over last night... just took out the fuse... and when i needed to change the steering wheel angle started up the car and turned it... which made it easier...

and also note...

I would advise taking out the horn fuse also... or you'll wake up the neighbourhood when your putting the airbag back in after hooking up the power module...

thanks fellahs, just got a new sports steering wheel today for the XR, so will give that a shot. Let you know how i go.
