hi, just bought one of these to go into the xr for my little girl, but the bolt on the parcel shelf is situated closest to the RHR door.

I would much rather have it in the middle of the rear seat 1) because it looks better and 2) most importantly i believe that it would be much safer being in the middle in the event of a side impact

after having a look and not solving my problem is there a provision to have the securing bolt located in the middle of the parcel shelf or can it be added but still keep all safety aspects in check. surely you could add a another bolt i mean what about people who have 2-3 kids and still need multiple child restraints

any help is much appreciated, cheers

i always thought there was three locating bolt holes in the rear shelf regardless, i know the AU has one cause that is were our capsule is.

Yeah my ef has 3 holes, they may have a fir tree clip in them instead of the bolt, but just pop it out and the threads there.

thanks for that, ill take that centre xmas clip out and see if the retaining bolt screws in. cheers again
