right i did my dash out with these LED's (below) but now they are starting to fail one by one, and now the ODO has gone kaput so i would like some ppl to post which are the best LED's.

I don't really like the idea of having to put resistors inline so they will work but if i have too then i will.

i know it's all been posted about dash LED mods before but mine are s**t me right off.

if you open those up you might find they have resistors built into the moulded plastic all the wedge LED like that I've used for my park lights and interior globes have always resistors in the moulded plastic along the line...

the narva ones mate not to sure of the model number ( it is in data_mine tech doco about custom dials) i used those ones and they are great and are a direct swap for the stock ones. be sure to figure out which side of the LED is positive first and same with the cluster cos if they dont match up you could be in trouble...i was i burnt part of the circuit board in my cluster first go..had to get a new one so be careful

those LED's have no resistors inside the holder, they just plug straight in, and the others are still working but about 3 have failed so far 1 by 1 and it's s**t me as i liek my dash.

But it is a good excuse for brighter led's now.

anyone know where to get bright led's in perth?

i bought my Narva globes from Repco, wasnt to expensive. 47902's i still have the whole packet as i cant solder them into the holders without a soldering iron lol.. the Repco in cannington said they were out of stock (bout 2 months ago) so we had to drive out to their warehouse..

Mine dont screw straight in, the holders the narva LED's come in are too small for the holes in the back of the cluster. And we cant seem to pull the narva LED's out of there holders.

seing as you guys seem to know the narva models, my globes have been dying in the climate controls on my EA falcon. i got one out a while back and its really small globes in a little black plastic 1/2 turn screw in holder. been everywhere to get replacement globes and no-ne can get them. would also like to change the colour to red if i can to match the rest of my dash. Any help on the model number would be most grateful

*looking at the narva catalogue i think its the 97818 im after but want to make sure by someone that knows*
