i have almost done my interior upgrades, i was lucky to be able to buy the air vent surround and the master window switch surround in wood grain.

on top of that getting the mint Momo steering wheel.

i have the EF Ghia door trims and the EB Ghia Leather and velour seats.

Now all i need if the wood grain cluster surround, and change all my lights inside to LEDs as they look better and draw less current over the globs that can draw anything up to half an amp.

so here are a few shots of the dash grain and console grain.

Thanks its getting harder to find good pieces these days and when you do there not cheap, even the s**t ones aren’t cheap.

Just going to change to LEDS and add a few in the inside door handles and add LTD NF/NL lower door trim curtasy lights.

Now I'm confused . I thought you were doing the ef/l interior into the eb?
or was it just the doors?

too much work for the EF EL dash, and me being 6 foot 4inch tall putting the ef/el seats in will be to high for me.

i have added the ef/el ghia door trims.

what i do want is the DA/DC or NC/NC2 LTD front electric seat bases

not the saets only the electric bases

I hadn't even thought of them. After I get the rest of the car sorted I will get some too. I finally got both the donor and the project into the garage on Sat. Of course this means I have no room to work around them. Now I can really get stuck into stripping the fairmont down as I am not concerned with being watertight anymore. My wife will be really happy to see the remains go to the crushers and be able to park the new Terry in the garage at last!

Yeah, can't beat the look of woodgrain.
You can enhance the look of that top panel by lightly sanding it, cleaning it, and spraying light coats of clear, e.g. the cheapy export can stuff. Don't spray too thick, as it will cloud up, or start getting craters. Let it dry and use some cut and polish on it.
You can also get some body filler, and fill the edges of the stick on, and brush paint black.
I used that very stick on panel to rework into my XH (sorry boxcar owners) - http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=41054 .

Nice work Bill,

Where did you manage to get hold of the woodgrain bits? :x As you know I have been searching high and low for ages. As you said though, when it does come up on Ebay, it sells for rediculous prices Eh! Nice job though matey!

Air vent surround, radio/ashtray surround and t-bar surround. I already have the rear air vent/courteousy light panel and window switch panel.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but why would you sell them after trying so hard to get them in the first place?? I'm interested in the radio surround if you want to sell that separately as it's the same darker shade as the bits I have. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the tbar surround a lighter shade and the stick on vaneer? I know i'm a fussy prick aren't I
