An EF or EL (didn't see hte front only the rear and didn't noticed the tailights only the styling of the Falcon/Fairmont badge) wagon drove past me today and i noticed the panneling arouynd the sid eof it's cargo area was all carpeted and nice, was this only in the Fairmonts or what?

I have carpetted panels in the back of my wagon too - ED Fairmont.

In EF I wagons only the Fairmonts got the plush finish. EFII Futuras and above may of, but I can't confirm that.

In EL wagons my Futura has it, so obviously the Fairmont will as well - don't know about the GLI's. The wreckers I go to has an EL GLI wagon, I'll have a checkers and see what it has.

Mines a stocker GLI 98 EL and it is carpeted, I thought all EF/EL wagons were like that, I don't remember noticing when I worked on them from new.
