hey alex pretty much the only way is to install an aftermarket system.... i'll find a thread for you... also next time u'll get more response if you post thin in the Audio, Visual and Communications Forum this is more for this "technical docs" is more for instructions than problems

d**k Smith have the same central locking kit, it's just been packaged differently to the Jaycar kit and as i recall it's only about forty bucks.

Here's the documentation for the install, and if anyone can decypher these instructions on how to tie in the aftermarket wiring to the BCM, please let me know! Haha....it's confusing....someone draw a diagram!

One of the actuators is shagged. To find out which one (more than likely drivers side front) unplug them one at a time and see if the central locking will behave (less the one you disconnected). Then visit the local wreckers or pick a new one up from Ford. 8-)

...and most likely, the actuator from the wrecker will be on the way out too lol.

have you tried putting the key in each lock, and opening/closing it from there? - Often the switch in the door dies causing this.
