buy an xr cluster, afaik the lights in the cluster a small led's soldered into the board

yeah mark take them either to a soldering expert....such as blackjack said. fat chance doing it urself....i mean i can barely do it.....i tried it once (not on the cluster) and managed to go through 4 LEDs before i got the hang of getting one in. then i just gave up.

btw why aren't u on msn?

it was a practice shot.....then i got angry and burnt a hole in the pcb......such a hassle :P. have fun with it though =D

SMD LED's are not a whole lot of fun to do, you need a teeny weeny soldering iron, a magnifying glass and steady hands

i talked to them a few months ago about the centre console, they said they have a plug in card that changes all the LED's to blue for $300 delivered, you could always pull it out, and take off the front because they look like normal LEDs to me.

I can solder SMD leds etc. If you are willing to dismantle the cluster etc and bring it to me I should be able to solder any colour you want.

theres green in the base models, white in the luxury models and blue/purple in the XRs.
