I have a EB XR6 smartlock cluster that I would like to fit to a non smartlock EB. Am I likely to run into any problems fitting this cluster?
I am aware that I would need to fit a oil pressure sender unit, run wire for the tacho and a wire for the volt meter.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks

It will work fine. I had a Smartlock Cluster in my non smartlock EBII.

I did find that I didn't have to run any extra wires. All I did was put in the Oil Pressure Sender. It would be worth plugging it in and see what works.

Don't forget that the Smartlock cluster will have the warning lamp and lamp panel fitted in the lower left hand corner facing the cluster if IN the car. The warning panel ( that is the lower length of plastic with words on it beneath the gauges ) can be removed by taking the main gauge cluster body apart...it then just falls out. Probably then a good idea to blank off the hole at the rear ( for dust protection ) with perhaps electrical tape.
Good luck mate !
