hi guys.

i pulled apart a spare ed trip comp and instead of changing the filter colour ive put a pic behind the screen instead.
and after trying 5 different background pics
ive got 2 that i think look cool.
which one looks better?

these pic were taken with my phone so there a tad fuzzy..lol

Great mod, any chance that this can be done to EF/EL trip computers?

Tickford wings looks better, IMHO.

Looks good.

I would go for the tickford wings, as I think that there is too much detail in the pic of your car, and that would make it too grainy

very creative mod there.... but i vote for none cause whilst the Tickford wings look good when the car's turned off, the numbers and wings look messy together while driving

Also i agree on the tech doc idea, this is a very creative mod, and i'm interested in doing it.

thats why the wings are only the outline.
to give a back ground effect..
i did try a few other pics and if the pic was bright in colour it looked confusing.

the only problem is it dont look good when the car is turned off. as you cant see the pic as the screen goes black..

i kind of liked the tickford wings more than the car pic.
so its now in the car...
