Gday, i just bought EL XR6/8 interior last night and they are in nice condition but just need a clean. What is the best way to clean them? I have called a few people and they say steam cleaning and others say they use some sort of shampoo and it works better than steam cleaning?

How should i clean them??

Cheers

You will think this is wierd, but lightly spray them with degreaser, leave them to sit for 5-10 mins and them hit them with high pressure water.

Pull the material off (it just unclips) , soak it in the laundry tub with some nappysan or similar and they will come up like new.

Ok cheers, i have been cleaning them today. I used some foaming upholstery cleaner and scrubed them with cold water and Biozet and they have come up really good.

Does anyone know if the rails on the EL XR6 seats are the same as the EL Futura seats? Because they are a bit warped and i was gonna just swap the cusions over.

Cheers
