Hey Fella's

Have split the XR8 dash to get ready for the eeprom swap but noticed it has an extra yellow chip that goes over two "legs" of the eeprom. Does anyone know what it is or what it does, not shown in the pics in the tech docs. Sorry don't have picture, waiting for camera.

Does it connect to anything or look like it will interfere witht he EEPROM swap?

I think it is probably a capacitor, I believe it was added to the cluster to stop spurious
problems with saving the odo readings to eeprom.

I must sound like a total d%$k, but how the hell are you supposed to add pics with messages? Have been trying for last 10 min but buggerred if i can work it out.
