I plan to fit a sports/mid cluster to an ED GLi. The doc says the odomoeter swap so I retain the same k's is fairly easy but requires disassembly of the cluster.
What exactly is involved?

Also, for the tacho line: I haven't had a look yet but I assume I'll need to add a pin to go to the connector. Is this correct?

no pin for the ed, just plug it in and the tacho will work fine, you will however need to change your oil pressure switch.
