hey people
just a quick querry im wonting to mould a couple of tachos in the A pillar mould on the driver side like people do in jap cars.. does any one know where i can get one made up cause all the universal ones are pretyy s**t and dont even match at all... plus ive got a el fairmont ghia and its in the cuppacino interior anyone know what colour the dash is so i can get it painted to match??

Why do you have the need for a couple of tachos? I mean surely there all going to give the same reading...

Arent they illegal if it goes above your steering wheel? As its considered an impact zone...What gauges would you be mounting in there neways its not like a non turbo car really needs any.

Well he said tachos... But I guess he ment gauges. THere's plenty of gauges that are good for NA cars, I've added an oil pressure and voltmeter to mine... Some people don't trust the factory temperature gauge (as it doesn't actually tell the temperature). Others want engine and transmission oil temperature too...
A lot of cops will let you off if there not huge and very much blocking your view.

yeah.. shouldent a fairmont already have a tacho in the dash cluster anyway? and you want a few more? pfft :lol: lol

Look at the BMW Alpina's - they give gbox/diff/engine/coolant temp (in degrees). Theres also oil pressure, coolant pressure, AFR(possibly 2 for a V8), manifold pressure (or vac).. god knows what else :)

cause the work ive done to my car people i need air fuel ratio and oil temp.. yeah i know ive already got oil pressure volts.. etc cause there the factory ones put there pointless anyways...

Yopu could get a universal fit one off eBay.com.au and try to attach it on, or try to remould it to fit?
