I have got a set of cheap gauges coming soon, so I decided to try get as much of the custom stufff done before I actually get the gauges. I will be installing an oil pressure, ammetter and vacum gauges. Any ways so far i have cut the holes for where the are going to be mounted and made a panel for one gauge, so tell me what you think. Also all 3 gauges are going to be moulded onto and into where the holes are.

this pic i still need to make the sides, but will wait for the gauges to make sure it will fit correctly

have a go at fibreglassing. Cover the c pillar with masking tape and then vaseline, fibreglass over this to get the starting shape. then cover in expanding foam, shape it how you like, then fibreglass over that, sand, high fill, and voila, custom with no flat surfaces or joins. Fair bit of work though

trying to spread the cost out, durring the week I will keep going with what I am doing and next pay day I will go get the high fill to try smooth it all out so I can respray them. My plan is to have all of the gauge mount finished and have all the gauges working before the 29th of this month

Looks better than i expected when I seen the first photos, with a bit of sanding and painting will not look too bad I guess, personally never understood the need for extra gauges but that is just me others seem to love em :)
