Pretty neat job dude, very nice.

However, aren't those gauges at the bottom of the fascia? That means you'll have to look down while driving in order to read them.

nah you are. :P

No I meant the location is a tad gay, (there would of been a fuller post if my young fella didn't like clicking the mouse.

"gay location, if would be hard to get an accurate reading looking down and near the gearshifter"

That was a bit rough Froudy.
The original post should've said "I think they're gay because.....".

I'm not a fan of the location, nor the gauges themselves. I would've just used an XR cluster, but hey it's your car and really only has to please you.

As far as a good place to run the wires through, if it's an auto then the best place is throught the hole where the clutch cable would normally go.

yer grommets are usually worth about $2 for 5 and their pretty much all equivilant quality.if you can't find a hole, make a new one. they look good though i think. mine are under the ashtray where the miscellanius crap tray is in my ea and i don't have a problem reading them when i need to, it's not like your watching them more than the road. people who pay more attention to their guages than the road should be phuked and have their clothes burnt.

having said that i also have 'a' pillar mounted guages for the air/fuel and vacum (vacum moot point) but i feel the air/fuel is the most glanced at guage and it takes as much mental exertion to look at that than the lower ones.
