part on the arm rests is fine, i did a good 4 coats of paint, so it's not coming off anytime soon!
it's time consuming, unless you've got a good week to spare then i wouldn't try.

yeah it's a tough choice with a white car! you could try black.
i guess you'd have to decide what suits.

Mate, Im jealous, Im wanting a set bad but I dont really want to part with that sort of money at the moment, plus I know if I got them now, they would be grubby shortly from being a work car. One day....! Still jealous.

haha, yeah a work car would make life pretty difficult!
but it's a nice looking car you've got already, im sure you'll do it one day

yea i would go black but i want to paint all the dash and change the carpet and get custom matts so there'd be to much black everywhere.....

i had a good think about it and thought johnnyfx had a really nice plan for a black interior so i searched it and i reckon ill go similar but everything he has orange/gold i reckon ill go white eg. stitching dash so on so forth....

I am actually drooling. I was thinking twice about doing something similar but after having seen your results and failing to receive strong disapproval from the missus..... I think that I may be forced to embark on this sort of custom interior.

Bravo, Blwn. Top shelf, mate.

That's awesome, EFII, thanks man.

I'm defintely going to do the dash spear dark blue, as with the door trims but I think I'll leave the dash just black.

I was thinking of doing the ash-tray section in a dark blue to match the seat covers, but I'm not sure. More of a Ford blue, though, not the Mauritis blue like my car is.

Like that, but dark blue instead of red.

Should come up looking very sexy.

Hey mate, nice job!!! I am doing my interior very simlar to this in my EL XR6. So far I've layed the new black carpet, and sprayed all all the plastics black. I am just waiting for my seat covers to arrive from ebay (beige colour).

Anyways I just noticed your seat belts appear to be black? Did you buy new ones? or did you dye them?

His is an EF so it has black belts and buttons, You have an EL they all have grey belts and buttons. Except if it were a cappa interior then it would have cappa buttons.

Yeah EF's had black seat belts.

Go to a wreckers and get some EF seat belts, should be pretty easy!

BLOWN_EF - I love what you've done mate, especially the seat design you went with. I may do this instead of trying to find good cappa leather.

I may have missed it, but what did the seats cost you?

$1,000 for seats, logos on each seat, perforated centers, gear stick cover, handbrake cover, console lid, door trims and extra just in case.

It's not "real" leather, its "semi-leather"
