Hey guys, finally got the driver's done, almost 100% done. But like outlaw let me know, the door doesn't screw in like my old EF ones on the right hand-side of the trim. Not sure how I'll fix that, o well, sitting good.

Know it looks kind of bare where the map pocket is, but the fabric got rooted when I took it off (was falling off). Might get some leather or velour or something to fill the void one day.

Anywho, here it is:

its pretty easy!

In the past I've used a coat hanger and atached a wire to the end.

Now I just remove the separate loom and untape it.
I usually add 2 or more twisted pairs of flying leads for future use.

WD40 is your friend. you can acutally remove the flexible rubber from the loom even with the plugs on! (wrapped in tape.)

The rear door trims are slightly harder as the bungs are incorperated into the plastic tube. so either add a few wires beside it, or tackle it and cus.

Might be easier to acquire the door looms off the donor car.

That is one classy looking colour.

Why oh why couldn't Ford have warm charcoal interior as an option on their EF/EL range?

That would look so more warm inside the NL.

Sexy! Where else are you going to have cappa in the car to match the trims? I think it would look pretty snazzy having the dash panel cappa and the rest of the dash black :)

Well mate, I only want small amounts of cappa, because dirty cappa looks bad. I'm stuck with cappa LTD seats for now, so that's why I left that section cappa on the door trims, to go with that. For the Dash insert infront of the passenger, i'm think satin black for now. And one day I might get someone to make it woodgrain or maybe even chrome, I don't know. Or I may just buy a new dash one day with an airbag and eliminate the problem all together.

Satin black and Cappa, that's the plan for now. The roof and the carpet will be the last grey sections left in the care before I can afford to get them black.

I meant the dash panel infront of the driver, the bit thats black on the GT :)

Looks sweet anyway and the LTD seats look so much better to sit in than mine :(

Something i havent gotten to as yet... my question...

what did you do with the pockets in the doors?
Did you spray inside?
Did you remove the plastic pockets? (Which i have done)

That's the thing, mine aren't staying. Glue sure as hell ain't working. Luckily I see the rear door map pockets are screwed in, phew! So that'll be easy when I attack them. But the fronts will continue to piss me off big time.

Outlawxr6 screwed his back on with large washers (think that is what he said, I have a bad memory). I have tried this, but have been unsuccessfull (I tried angle-grinding down some screws, lol). Will have to get some wide washers and stubby (not too fat) screws and give it a go.

I'm leaving the fronts off till I install my new 6" speakers anyway, so plenty of time to get grumpy with front door trims.

O and I did spray the inside sort of when I pulled the pockets off. So that when I look into the pockets at any angle, all I will see is satin black, hehe. :)
