As part of my upgrade of my ED V8 wagon, I've come across the full DL LTD premo sound system for $300. Is this a good price? I'm thinking of putting it in the wagon somehow. BTW, this will be going into the EF dash conversion with EF loom so fitting the double DIN wont be a problem..

I'm quite impressed with the Premium sound systems, could have a touch more punch in higher volumes but generally i find it to be a good system. But $300 seems a little bit high, just remember that Fairmont Ghias and Fairlanes had the same sound system, so they're not too rare.

Depends if you get the amp and stacker. On ebay head units alone go for 150 - 250. Double surrounds about $70 and amps $80 stackers up to $150. So if its a complete package with all that i dont think you could miss. I have a premo unit in my fairmont ghia and it sounds fantastic. Not all Fairlane Ghia`s had premo units either. You can still buy them from ford for $3,500 lol.
