Hello.. i own an 88 ea wagon, and i recently had the dash out and back in for a manual conversion, and since then, ive had dramas with my heater controls. the issue since the install is that if select anything other than face air, it defaults back to windscreen.
I had an other issue which was there before, and that is when its on hot air, it hisses. further investigation shows that it hisses out the middle port of the hot/cold switch, which has no vac line on it. i pulled appart another wagon (my parts car) to find it too is missing this middle line... is there supposed to be a line there??

Anyway, my question is, what could i have bummed up to create this problem of no selecting the correct vents??

Thanks
David

after furter investigations, i have found i have no vac to the storage tank under the right hand front guard.
i have swapped the vac lines under the bonnet around and i now have face, windscreen, and face+feet.. however, there is still a small amount of windscreen that comes out with the face+feet air.

where does the vac storage tank get its vac from??
Thanks
David

Also, under the bonnet, i have 3 lines that come from the firewall, a brown coloured one, and 2 black ones, a long and a short...
Where are these supposed to goto??
