How do you remove the lock mechanism from the glove box on a EB or find a replacement key

open the govebox and you will see on the inside around the lock a black plastic C shape clip that holds it into place.

carfully lift the bottom of one side and lift upwards and do the same to the other side and it should slide up and off it.


to take the lock out after that you like you were to open it and slide it out
I just too these 2 photos hope it helps.

you should be able to take the lock to a lock smith and he will get the key for you!

Mate my old lock screwed up so what i did i got one at the wreckers removed the original lock and put it in the new one and i still used the original key ! it works great.
