hmm sounds like an interesting place to put a clock. i put a green cap on my clock, just cause i had one, it sort of turns the orange into a wishy washy s**t colour i dont recommend it. ive put in the "blue" light that i had in my parkers since, just makes it brighter. might try hunt down some red caps though give that a go

Maybe try LED Globes instead of silicone caps.

Let me know what you think it is worth. Pitty you wern't 3 days earlier as I just bought one on ebay which also came with some dash switchs which i don't need so they are for sale if anyone wants them. paid $61 for clock and dash switchs
