Ok i took the door trims off and gave the guides a good soak with silicon spray. This seemed to help free them up and they go a little better. However im still getting a grinding noise when moving up and down, and there is moments where the windows looks like its about to stop but then continue to keep going like its loosing power or something..

has anyone got any ideas whats causing this grinding noise? its pretty much on all 4 windows..

thanks

the guides may need some lubricating with some dry lubricate. The grinding noise may be cables running of their track and kind of grind on each other...which is bad, cause it will cause the window to seize and kill the motor.

inspect the metal cables that run along the plastic pulley...you may need to remove the motors to inspect it fully.

Not sure what else might grind, unless all 4 windows have their gears die at the same time causing them all to lose grip and hence the grinding of teeth on teeth.

phong =P~
