Hmm you have an EF? Because apparently Ef's had problems with central locking. This was most often fixed by the complete replacing of the door mounted solenoids (actuators) which most times cured the problem.

Manual EL XR6, 2.5" Lukey Exhaust System, Pacemaker 4499 extractors, K-mack Adjustable camber kit, Pedders adjustable coilovers, K&N intake, 18" BSA291's, Full Alpine Tyre R entertainment system.

Take the trim off and have a look at what is happening when locking/unlocking. It might just be cathcing on something or a bent rod or something.
