Its busted, and im not happy
the lcd has cracked just right of the middle. was putting some wood from the boot into the cabin, and my wise guy mate thought he'd push it right up. Is there replacement displays? with the pins? if so where? Ford only seem to want to sell the whole unit for $680 +gst, and the wreckers want to sell the whole thing for $110, but they dont have any in for a few weeks. Does anyone any suggestions as to my approach of this boggle.

contact ftg....any colour will do for it, cause u can swtch the faces over, but i dont think you will be able to get hold of just the screen, cause that would basicaly make the unit screwed....if your lucky you might be able to find someone with a fried unit, but you will need to take it somewhere toget them to switch the unit over

Tried taking it to a TV repairs place or soemwhere that deals with LCD screens?
They might know somehting. |

A wrecker is your best bet but shouldn't your mate do the foot work to find one and then install it since he broke it ?

yea ill go to some more wreckers and see what prices i get.
In regards to my mate doing the work. i wouldnt bother caus it'll take a year to get a result
