Hi all

I have a clock with a globe but there is no wire with a connector to the globe there is the main wiring which plugs into the side of the clock but nothing for the globe.

Can anyone help out with what is needed to fix this?

You need a new globe.
The globe's holder has 2 metal tab's that connect on the inside of the clocks PCB.

so,
There are no wires.

You either replace the globe
or
Replace the globe with its assembly.

The clock only has one cable going to it, the 8pin plug.

The globe for the clocks illumination does not have a cord going to it. It has two tabs that hold it in place, so if you twist it 90 degrees it should come out, reverse the procedure to install the new globe.

This page is a doco for the trip computer, but the sockets for the globe should be the same on the clock. http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=32 There is also some more info on the globe at the bottom of the page.
