Can any one give me an answer to this

I have a EL Futura and ages ago I put a EF 6 gauge cluter (white needles)into it. I got the Odometer reset to original Kls and added the mod for the fog light warning lamp to work

I now have a EL 6 gauge cluster (orange nedles) and want to fit this to my EL but the Kls are huge and no modes have been done to it

My Question

Can I swap just the gauge units over between each assembly or do I have to start from scratch with the EL cluster

I hope I have explained the situation well enough for a speedy reply

Yes you can swap the Dials over.
Yes the eeprom is the same for the GLi/Fairmont EF/EL models
The police one is slightly different, but can also be transferred to the lower series.

Im sure you've read: http://www.fordmods.com/forums/Changing ... s-d14.html
as you've stated the flog light mod, and if not, Bon appetite.

Either swap the circuits to match the K's or source another cluster with similar K's on it.

Thanks guys, looks like I have project ahead of me.
I will swap the gauges in each cluster.
It will be good to have it all EL again
