I have just put in EL seats into my EA only to find out that the EA seat belts wont fit into the EL seat belt catch, my question is will EL/EF seat belts be just a str8 swap with no mods into my EA or will i have to change the EL seat belt catch on the seats?

I have heard that the EL belts won't fit the EA or EB1. I have EL belts in my EBII, but a mate with an EA said they wouldn't fit in his car.
You will have to find out the old way. Try it and see. Good luck. BenJ

Thanks BenJ for the heads up. Might see if i can change the seat belt catch on the EL seats to EA ones

as benj said.
i had a series 1 ea and they did not fit as the b pillar only had a small cut out for the ea belt carier and the eb onwards (maybe ea series 2)has a larger cut out for the later belt carrier.. if the el belts dont fit just swap the buckle from the ea seat and bolt it to the el seats.. |
