I understand there are instructions around for installing a trip computer in an EF futura that the wiring is different to the fairmont etc. Does anyone have a website which has these instructions and wiring diagrams please

Greetings all,

Thank you for the information

Well the beast is installed and checked by an auto electrician but it is still not working properly. The problem appears to be that my EF has Tickford gas installed and it is not working when in GAS mode. My belief is that with the integrated Gas it should work, but I have no idea at all how to troubleshoot this problem or indeed why it is causing this problem. The trip computer is as we all know only a data display of the exisiting computer and not a computer in it's own right. How does the word HELP sound? The auto electrician has no idea why it is not working on gas either.

Thanks to Happy I have a copy of the Ford instructions for retro fitting trip computers to non trip computer equiped models ie GLi, Futura and XRs.
