Hi everyone. I have a problem with my EF falcon gli that I'm hoping someone has experienced at some stage.

The problem is an intermittent one. Sometimes the wipers and the aircon & heater fan do not work when the ignition is turned on or the engine is started. On occasions the wipers/heater fan/aircon will start working after a few minutes of starting the car. Other times everything works fine after starting, but will not work if the ignition is turned off and on again.

It is frustration especially if it decides to rain. I have checked what relays I can find and they seem to be fine. I have looked at the wiring diagrams in the workshop manual and can find no common connection between the wipers and the aircon/heater.

Any suggestions would be most welcome before I take the car to an auto sparky.

Cheers :(

Thanks Rapier, I'll try that. That's about the only thing I haven't tried yet. Cheers

Hey mate my car does the exact same thing plus my cd player doesn't work either. Next time it happens, Turn the key back as if you are going to turn it off but don't turn it off. Usually everything starts working again then. It is a faulty igniton switch.
