Hey guys.

I followed the Custom Dials thread posted in the technical documents.
Created my own custom dials for my EF XR6.

I wanted something simple, but different to the standard dials.

Here a few night photos for you.
Let me know what you think.

Mate that looks freakin awesome. Adds class and makes it look modern without ruining the old feel of the EF/EL guages.
I'm giving it 10/10.

looks nice...... but i reckon the 'boxy' style of the numbers prolly arnt the best choice for the speedo.... eg. 60 and 80 almost look the same

what kind of paper did you use, cause it certainly shines well

Nigel, if you're getting an EF or EL I can send you the direct files.
They print straight off, no re-sizing needed at all.

i used a semi-gloss high resolution paper and decent printer.

the paper had a very minimum shine.
i'm going to re print them on similar paper with a lesser shine.
it tends to reflect just a tad too much in the sun.

i ask which paper cause i used 2 layers of 80gsm thickness paper, a black n' white backing and the top layer with the design, and it doesnt shine as bright as yours. Also the lighting is uneven in places

yeah the light can look uneven if you haven't put it on properly and the paper has too much gloss.

mine's just a bit too glossy.
so i'll be reprinting in on a very dull paper this weekend.
