Just a quick question, i'm interested in painting the air con vent surrounds on my ef. Do these surrounds simply pop off or is there a more detailed dash removal that has to take place?

the ones on the outside edges of the dash, or the centre ones? the outside ones just pop out (but be careful of scratching the dash) whilst the centre ones you need to take off the dash surround (easy job) as they are screwed in from the back of this
can take ya a few photos later if you want - i'm at work now, but have a few spares around in the garage i can get some piccys of

Thatd be awesome thanks, im pretty podantic about scratches and any belmishes so i wanna make sure i know what im dealing with before i start *prying* things off with a screwdriver.

lol i didn't have to worry, as i was ripping them out of a mates wreck, so i could rip 'em out without a care in the world!
