Does anyone make reasonable quality 3rd party ones cheaper than the Ford ones?

yes... Try SSS auto parts... they do all ya tiwanees parts ive got em in mine

when I had to replace mine in the EF Ghia, I used the ones from http://www.ozeparts.com

They were decent quality and did the job fine. Although I just had a qick look, and they dont appear to be on there anymore...might be worth getting in touch with them?

Ozeparts had a disclaimer at one stage with those regulaters saying they were of poor quality, and im guessing has stopped selling them because so.

Wat does the reg. do, how do i know if mines dead or dieing?

My drivers side window is getting slow as and it lubed, cleaned and not tilting forward, need new reg?

I want it zippy fast again.

Pretty much Daniel. The regulator makes it go up and down and when it starts not performing as usual, then it is on its way out. We are looking for a cheaper place then ford so if you find one post it up.

second hand ones are just a expensive as new ones. i got mine do by my mates at jarvis ford.so he got me new ones, at least i know they will last
