Hey guys i have decided to re- spray the inside of my XR6 has taken me 3 nights but I have taken everything out of the car and taken it to bits so now i have about 30 thousand small Ford bits in the garage I have started cleaning all the bits of the dash first, then Ill spray the dash once its all been cleaned well. Mum doesn't like her garage full of car bits so she can't park in it lol. But its all for the greater good.!!!
I am spraying it Tan and Black.I think its going to awsome once the new seats and carpet are all in. Does anyone have any pointers that will help me out? Feel free to post.

Looks good. Be sure to continue the theme through to the carpet b pillars and parcel shelf. Half finished interiors look terrible. Can't wait to see some finished pictures!!

i used vinal and plastic paint really easy paint to work with.
its getting a tan roof lining and black carpet but finishing all the painting first one thing at a time i need it back on the road mid jan so ill do the carpet and roof lining hopefully by end of jan

should pull the airbag off and paint the front of it aswell so thhe steering wheel doesnt look so bad, it comes out with 2 10mm bolts and 1 plug, and when you plug it back in if it throws up an air bag code it takes 2 seconds to clear it if you read the tech doco on here about it

Got airbag falts atm sence the dash went back in but will do it one day airbags scare the s**t out of me had one explode beside me once so never liked them
with a au dash there probs diffrent dize and mounts but painting is the easy part its puttibg it back in thats hard and aus have ugle dashes anyways

should of been more specific i was referring to the AU airbag
could probably even get the AU steering wheel in black too. Never seen an airbag go off unless it has power.... take the fuse out and disconnect the battery. shouldn't have a problem then. |

Once im done the only things not touched will be the seat belts, mirror, and well yer thats it lol its a lot of work bit i have enjoyed every bit of it so far but the misses thinks diffrently she says i spend to much time on "just a car" she has no idear:)

ill paint mine one day finished all the painting to day thank god it took a lot out of me lol but carnt wait till its all in the car ready to go.
had some problime with the car it burnet a fuse and i replaced it and now it wont start got no roof lights no power windows no radio and no fuel :/ so got some work to do to moz to make the barsted start
