Hi all. Just bought a 98 Futura. I need to replace the bulb for the clock.
Questions. Do you need to pull the dash out to get at the bulb or can the clock come out on its own ? If the clock comes out on its own how do I go about doing this ?
Sorry to be a pain but I can't seem to find any written material on this subject.
Cheers ... Dan.

Not sure how mate, but I'm certain that the clock will come out seperately... Mine is a little loose, and the area around the clock is detachable...

you can pop it out without removing the whole dash facia. but, you risk scratching the surface of the clock and dash. in the end it would probably be faster to just remove the dash as terry describes. its not hard, just make sure you plug everything back in when your putting it back together, i realised i hadnt when my fuel door wouldnt open urgh!

Thanks to you all that have helped. As I read through other problems I noticed others have the same problem with the leds which I bought today.
I did take notice of one reply somewhere that said that when the clock light goes to make sure that you replace the mileage counter led at the same time cause they usully go one after the other. Well soon after that .. it did. So can't read the clock or the trip/klm counter.
I bought both today from Ford at the cost of $16. The blue coloured clock led @ $10.23 with holder is different slightly than the standard dash ones @ $4.35 for one globe and holder.
I will try to replace both soon and will post an update.
Thanks ... Dan.
