Wanting to change my EL shifter.

Is it as simple as unscrewing the old on an then screwing on the new one.

Anyone who can explain it to me that would be great.

Cheers
Zacha

It is that simple but however you need access to the front two bolts which require lowering the gearbox. You can do that by undoing the two bolts that hold the crossmember and have something underneath that will support the gearbox while you getting the front two bolts.
That is for a manual, as you said shifter.

If your talking auto then yeah just unscrew the handle and put a new one on.

If your talking manual shift handle then its just two 10mm bolts to undo.

I reckon I've covered them all.

Witht he auto handle there is a lock nut at the bottom. Loosen it first a bit then unscrew the handle.
