looks to me that your interiors been retrimmed.
EL XR seats were not leather and there was no option to get them done in leather.

is it vinyl or leather :S

I don't know the history of the car as I'm prob the 3rd or 4th owner but I'm pretty sure they are vinyl.

Does anyone know the cost involved in getting leather retrims? I'm in Syd so retrimers in Perth aren't going to do me much good. I've heard that doing a full professional interior retrim can cost upwards of $4000! Don't know if I'd want to spend quite that much...

Jets seats look awesome :D, but maybe a bit too big :P
they remind me of the djr ba seats.

Did the AU ghia's series 2 and up also have electric seats?

BA XR electric seats + retrim would be more than $450 a seat i'd imagine?

That was just for the seat its self. Then the retrim would be on top of that..

I got mine done with door trims, handbrake handle & boot, t-bar handle and console all for under $4000 (cant say exact price) and that price also included new sponges for 2 front seats and spraying the plastics black on the seats
Also gave me 2 big bottles of leather treatment stuff

and that was done by the guys who done the 2005 Alpine show car which you will find on alpine's aussie website (http://www.alpine.com.au/democar%5Fpages/)

but then again they're in melb so not much help to you
they done a magic job as ive been told from anyone who has seen and felt my new retrimmed seats

so depending where you go, what you want and what price you can negotiate to, you can get a good deal seeing as you only want the seats done

Sell off ur seats and buy a set of crappy Fairmont fabric seats and retrim them. you may also want to look into the holden electric part of things cause the base model vt had electrics (well dads base VT did). You could fix something up.
