hey guys just bought an electric boot release servo thing off an xf ghia i think or a farilane anywho i havent had a chance to try putting it on yet anyone know if it will fit alright ? i shouldnt have to change the lock should i ? cheers

Bolting it into an XF? straight in mate...the bracket is already in the boot lid

I actually fitted one to my wagon...one wire from the switch all the way thru the body, up the rear pillar and thru the original loom sleeve to the bottom of the tailgate...impressed myself.

Dont forget to earth at the boot end of things, self explanatory really, but...
