back passenger side electric window is playin up, goes down ok, but sounds like skipping gears or seomthin when it is meant to do up? anyone got any ideas on wat it is?

you might need to ;ube the window
get some nulon ezy glide spray and spray it down the channels

or the window could be loose on the rail, you need to pull the trim off and tighten the bolts for the window rail a bit

its was the cable, it f**k up inside

theres a spares place up here in newcastle that sells replacement kits for it, cost $77 for the whole kit....bit steep but better then couple hundred from ford

$77 is a good price for a electric window assembly. I paid $160 through a friend who works for ford dealer

what u mean by sounds like skipping gears? can you hear it crunching or is it hesitating? my left rear window motor has a dirty com and brushes but hardly use it so dont bother with it. it hesitates as it is raised or lowered.

it was crunching

how do u know the com is dirty? and how can you have dirty carbon brushes, they are always dirty no matter wat!? i work on industrial electric motors, and i dont think it would be that!
