Can someone just confirm the size of the Festoon Dome Light in the EF Fairmont, I wasn't sure whether it 44mm or 39mm. (and yes i tried using a ruler :P but its too close to see)

Also wondering whether anyone has fitted a LED dome light

e.g.

yea i was affraid of that, however i changed my footwell and rear map lights to blue as well, however the white dome light kills most of that light, so im after something to just light up blue, and if i need some proper light i can still use the front map lights. only thing i was really worried about was the size of which one to get.

check ebay. I came accross by accident not long ago a clear dome light cover. It was for GLi falcon only though. Do a search, they might have the higher end ones too.

they'll fit... pretty sure they will anyways.. i got 'em. they're kinda gay to be honest. if you want white light (like i did) and you get one of the white ones, it'll look blueish, and like my girlfriend said "it looks like your in a hospital". But if you want blue light, then get a blue 1 i guess. up to you.

but i'm pretty sure it'll fit.

So its simply just a 39mm for the dome light and also just wondering what type of LED's did you use for the footwells, and did you use also anything in the rear footwell light and rear map lights?

A mate of mine put one of those in his interior light. Its was multi coloured and changed colours rapidly. Very Rice! But then again he does own a commodore

nope. The 'clear' one that they advertise is a standard AU one that fits oner the GLi Light. You are not able to get any for the higher end ones, because the AU had their reading lights near the main rear view mirror

Ive got an LED light in my car it has 4 small led's in a festoon style bulb, not really as bright as i expected but its not too distracting to have on whilst driving when digging for cds. Nothing like the 12W i got aswell, which lights up the car better then at day.
