Hey there....i was just wondering how hard it is to make a custom made fibreglass boot for my stereo????is there any forum links that can help me out with this situation.

fibreglas can be our friend or our foe just have to sit down and design something and then work it out and buy a Fibreglassing kit and go for your life

lol id love to see the results some people would get with that advice! tho it does look pretty easy from what ive seen. just a matter of making a framework and draping some chicken wire or somthin over it then fiberglassing over that.

yeah just have a play with some stuff buy something from the wreckers its the only way to learn

Make up a wooden frame, make sure its removable, cover it with cloth, pull it tight and staple to the frame, then coat it with fibreglass resin. That will get you the basic form, add layers of fibreglass and resin, and let it set. Then use some sort of putty or filler to get it exactly how you want, sand it back, and paint! Or cover in carpet or vinyl
