im doing the conversion for my EF next week.

The only other thing you may want to check out is the door trims. Im getting futura or fairmont ones for mine. Im also going to get EL ones for my EF because the passenger door doesnt have the little knob thing to tell u if the door is unlocked or not.

I can only guess that there is a doco for this?

If so read that and it should be pretty easy.

I have actually purchased a set of EL XR door trims and am going to fit them. I have the door handles and the electric mirror adjustor as well as the cover plates for the mirrors. I just have been lazy in getting this done but now Xmas is here I have some time on my hands. Am also fitting my new motor over xmas. I will post pics wait for it. It is something special for an inline 6 naturally aspirated motor??????????????

el xr trims into ef will require the 2 plastic lugs where the trim screws bolt on to the door to be removed and replaced with the el ones. luckily i had 8 of those exact lugs laying about when i did mine. i also purposely removed the passenger side door lock cause i am sick of my mates constantly bumping it down while driving.

You will also need the power window loom. It is a seperate loom to the body loom.
