Could someone tell me where to connect the data wire (blue) on the instrument cluster? I have been following the instructions submitted by Matti but it is not clear where to connect this wire to enable trip computer to work. Any reply appreciated. paulrav. TAS.

Pin No.14 Add the Blue wire.
Next to No.15 (Dark Blue / Light Green)

Thanks for you reply.
Data wire (blue) runs from ECU pin no. 7 to right hand harness connector pin no. 14 of instrument cluster on my car, i assume this wire runs my Temp gauge? Yesterday i connected a wire to the blue data wire close to the ECU and Temp gauge stopped working, (needle would not rise with temp). since disconnecting the wire it took several kms for the gauge to correct itself. Can i connect to this blue wire at pin no 14 of the harness connector and run it through to the trip computer? Will that work?

I am nervous that it will do something to the ECU.
