Just some pics of the steering wheel i scored for a great price. Its a MOMO leather item with the cruise buttons. Spose to be off a GT but i doubt it (if anyone knows what it is off let us know). and a pic of my dash mod and my omp racing seats & sparco harneses.

The steering wheel is a MOMO Olympic III wheel which was standard on EB XR6, ED Sprint and EB GT.

The only thing is, yours has the AM centre, which you could buy for about $100.

The original equipment cruise centre had the blue ford centre horn peice and the cruise buttons on the bottom spokes, on the angle.

As for the rest of it, it looks ok. I've never been a fan of racing seats, harnesses or the made up dash facias, but that's just me!

So is my wheel pretty rare then? Ive only ever seen the ones with the ford badges. The seats are great (and the harnesses) they hold you in heaps more than the xr items. They will be good for racing.

The wheel is not really rare, but the centre is not usual.

I had one like yours in a fairmont ghia years ago that I sourced from Roman Autotek, but then only because I couldn't get the OE one. They look a lot better than the AM one IMO.

i think i kind of prefer my centre. The ones with the ford centre caps and the cruise switches on the angle kind of look weird.

Where can you source Flash'es AM Center Pad from?

Hey Flash

The interior certainly will look bright. I can see a fair bit of red in there.

Have you checked the legality of the racing harnesses? Would be wise to find out if you haven't.

Look forward to more updates.

Cheers
BenJ

Cheers Benj, Nah i haven't had a chance to yet but im pretty sure there illegal. Although i have used the seat mounting points for them which is a strengthened part of the vehicle (rather than drill holes in the floor) and according to what ive been told cams do approve this as ive used the proper ring bolts from the sparco harness set. i also still do have the standard seatbelts in the car. so i dont think ill be going anywhere in an accident, the car will just crumble around me :)
Oh yeah and theres a fair bit of RED! its a satin finish though so it shouldn't be to bright, reflection wise anyway ;).
