hi i just wanted to know if trip computer would just plug in the clock spot and work stright away or will i need to cut wires

the trip comp will go into the hole, but that is where the fun ends, the plugs are different and you will need to run extra wires to tell the trip computer different information. If you need a trip computer plug, i have one laying around...

oh ok thanks for letting me know that i need the plug i dont think they sell em on ebay so i might give it a miss

Hello, i need to install from clock to trippy in an eb II however when i click the link supplied above i get this

Just a warning, you also have to remove the glovebox and surround to make it a hell if alot easier to run the wire to the ECU

^true that. i installed a trip computer into my ED about a month ago (exactly the same as an EB one) and i used that tech doco, flawless install.

same here, but mine isnt completely accurate, shows about 1/2L/100km less than i am actually using

It took us a little longer because we had to stop and take photos, and also figure out the best/easiest way to do stuff, and make notes as we went so I could update the old doco! It actually took me longer to retype the doco, and photos, and code it into html than it did to do the install itself...
