so anyone else know if thepower window motor/reg etc setups internally from AU or BA do they differ from the E-series fords...or could they be modded without to much hassle to suit an E-series application

I passed by FTG Salvage today and had a chat about Darren's aftermarket window reg's for our Falcons. He said he's had great sales and no returns since he started selling his new aftermarket reg's so perhaps you'd like to chat with him about his reg's which are going for about $100?

I ended up returning the regulator i bought. It was extremely noisy and even slapping a tin of grease on all the moving bits, would slill not lift the window. Serves me right for going non genuine this time...
