Hi Kids.
When the airconditioning is cooling, theres a real bad fumey smell. Smells like fuel, but not quite.
When its on vent, or fan, or heat, theres no smell

Im thinking maybe the carbon canister has had it ?
Any other ideas ?

Hi Pirate :P

Sounds like you hit the nail on the head. Either that or you've got a leak of something near the fresh air intake...

it seems be be a bit better on recirc, but its still there.
i dunno if maybe its cuz the fumes are in the cabin already and recirc is picking them up, but even with the window down for a while, its still noticable.

on recirc, you would think it would be more noticeable - ie the enclosed air and the a/c adding to it...

i'm just throwing some ideas around here - anyone with ideas, go for it!
