As above, i have a plain ol' EF Fairmont, but the back of the cluster has a sticker saying 'VDO Fairmont Ghia'
Is this normal? |

they're identical clusters, no difference in looks/gauges/lights etc!

yes i realise it looks the same, but was curious as to why my mont has 'ghia' labelling.

i wouldn't consider it 'ghia' labelling
they're identical clusters, so all the stickers might have Fairmont Ghia stamped on them, rather than printing ones with just Fairmont - i can't remember what the std fairmont ones say, but its nothing to get excited about!

f**k it, im gonna nicko the C*** on there and glue fifty ticky wings all over the car, its got a 'ghia' cluster !!!
Haha, doesnt worry me too much, my car still pisses on the tickford boys anyway....... |

yeah the fairmont cluster i removed from my car had "ghia fairmont" on it....i beleive it was orig, so it seems the fairmonts had ghia clusters
strange as the futuras dont have gli clusters even though they look the same

Is this normal? My guess is when it was being built they stuck in that cluster as they ran out of the ones labeld diff so as they are the same and its only a sticker same s**t to them on the line. or its been replaced

I have a Fairmont cluster labelled 'Ghia Fairmont'. I suspect the labelling reflects the idiot lights that are fitted. Maybe.

Probably just means its for Fairmonts or ghia's
