Is there a trick to removing a heater box? I undid the nuts from the engine bay, removed the heater and air con hoses/lines but it won't come out. Am I missing something?

Cheers
RD

Yo RD!!!!

ROTFLOL

When I was pulling mine out, it got caught up on the carpet, and I had to remove the dash bracket from the Transmission hump. The dash bracket bolts also hold a bracket under the car that helps hold the firewall matt/crap in place.

Oh, and you have to unplug the Vac hose from the right hand Vac res hidden in the guard.

Hope that helps.

BenJ

Ah, cool - thanks Ben. I think that is what is holding the damn thing in, grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I am finishing up the engine swap in Rachs car today so will try continuing the removal saga tomorrow. It is bloody hot out there now so am resting in the shade :)
