hey guys,
i own a ef futura and have started to put climate control in it.. i've stumbled upon a few problems.

i cant seem to find where to put the outside airtemp sensor, the guy i bought it off from this forum said that if i had abs (which i do) the connector is already there for it. is this true? if it is, would anyone please have a photo showing where it goes..

where does the photo sensor go on the dash?

also i recieved the wiring loom for the dash so that i don't have to wire up the
climate control. but now i need a high series bem...

does anyone have a working ef fairmont bem that they'd sell to me?

cheers,

Mate, check the Tech Doco's, and i think the temp sensor sits on the front bar

There will be 2 extra wires in the horn connector plug. The ambient air sensor fits in the centre of the lower grille air deflector - it will have two holes for the sensor and it's mounting bolt hole. Remove the black plastic cover around the bonnet catch, grab a torch and look under the bonnet catch area.

Remove the panel that sits between the upper dash and the windscreen - it houses the tweeters as well. There will be two screw mounting points in the centre, drill the hole for the sensor, and fit it.

you'll also need a fairmont headlight switch.

Any EA-EL fairmont or higher (fairlane, LTD, ghia) light switch will do - should have a green connector.
