On the isnstructions posted on this site it mentions one wire should go to the Fuel injection PWM Output on EECIV. Where is this?? Please give me detailed description.

it does????? I've just checked the Trip Computer doco and it says nothing about what you described above!!

The only wire you need to run is from Pin 1. of the Clock/Trip Computer Plug to Pin 14. of the Right Hand Side Instrument Cluster Connector.
This line is used to transfer information to and from the Trip Computer, and the Instrument Cluster. This data includes the Vehicle speed, Fuel Level, etc, etc.

happy, IIRC EF-EL's got the data from the cluster, EA-ED got it from the ECU

ECU behind passenger kick panel. You need to pickup from pin 34. Be careful not to break this wire at the ECU plug. Just skim a bit of the plastic wire covering and solder your new wire to it. Make sure you cover the joint with tape.

Cheers

Clive :D :D

Sorry if this has already been addressed but with the install of a trip computer into an EA (http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=46). Does hooking it up with single point injection give even a half accurate reading, cos I don't want to d!ck around for an hour for something no more use than the odometer.
